Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Overview

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for BillBrain Pro subscriptions. Please read this carefully before subscribing. If you have any questions, contact us at kailasbmenon@gmail.com.

2. Cancelling Your Subscription

You may cancel your BillBrain Pro subscription at any time — there is no lock-in period or cancellation fee.

  • Log in to BillBrain and go to Account Settings → Billing to cancel your subscription.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full Pro access until that date.
  • After your billing period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan (up to 5 bills). Your existing data will be preserved, but you will lose access to Pro-only features such as the AI Copilot.

3. Refund Policy

Important — No Partial Month Refunds

As per the requirements of our payment processor Razorpay, BillBrain does not offer refunds for partial months. When you cancel, you will not be charged for the next billing cycle, but no refund will be issued for the current period.

In summary:

  • No refunds are issued for the remaining days of a billing period after cancellation.
  • No refunds are issued for charges already processed.
  • You will not be billed again after cancellation.

4. Exceptions & Dispute Resolution

We understand that exceptional circumstances can arise. If you believe you were charged in error or have a legitimate dispute, please contact us within 7 days of the charge at kailasbmenon@gmail.com with:

  • Your registered email address.
  • The date and amount of the charge in question.
  • A brief description of the issue.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. Refunds, if approved on a case-by-case basis, will be processed through Razorpay and may take 5–10 business days to reflect in your account.

5. Payment Processor

All payments are processed by Razorpay. BillBrain does not store your card details. If you experience any payment-related issues (e.g., double charges or unauthorised transactions), you may also contact Razorpay support directly or raise a dispute through your bank.

6. Account Deletion

Deleting your BillBrain account does not automatically cancel your Pro subscription. Please cancel your subscription first via Account Settings before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

7. Changes to This Policy

BillBrain reserves the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of BillBrain Pro after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
